Simple Returns & Exchanges

Trailful Exchange and Return Policy

Don't love it? No worries!  Just ship it to us or bring it to our shop in Hiawassee within 60 days, and we'll refund your original purchase price.

If you made your purchase online:

Please contact us to start your return or exchange within 60 days. We'll give you a return number and instructions on where to ship your return. You will need to pay for the cost of the return shipping.

You can also return your item in person at our store in Hiawassee to avoid shipping fees (and it'd be great to see you, too!).

Once we receive your item, we'll need to make sure it's in brand new condition, and it hasn't been worn, washed or used, and it has all original packaging and tags in perfect condition. Then we’ll either issue a refund to the original method of payment or send you an exchange, whichever you choose.

If you purchased your item in our brick-and-mortar hiking shop:

Please visit our store in Hiawassee to complete your exchange or return.


All items marked "Final Sale" are clearance items. We will not accept returns or exchanges on these items.

For all returns and exchanges:

We can only offer one exchange per original transaction.  Any item you receive as an exchange will be considered final sale and may not be returned or exchanged.

We cannot accept returns or exchanges on any product that is not in its new, unused, unworn state with the original packaging and tags in perfect condition.  Any item purchased with a box (for example, shoes) must be shipped in an outer carton.  We will not process a return or exchange on any item shipped in the manufacturer's box, or with damaged packaging of any kind, including labels, writing, stickers, or markings.  In short, every item we receive as a return or exchange must be in the exact condition that you originally received it.

Any returns or exchanges that do not meet the above standards will be returned to you, and we will ask you to pay for the return shipping at your own cost.

A few exceptions:

For the safety of our customers, we also cannot accept returns on food or personal-use items, including sleeping bags, sleeping bag liners, socks, baselayers, underwear, snacks, or meals. Any product defects should be addressed directly with the manufacturer and covered under the manufacturer's warranty.


We'll ship your order from Hiawassee, a mountain town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains near the Georgia / North Carolina border. We ship orders Monday through Friday within 1-2 days, and the same day whenever we can.
